Hey guyz....jus posting to let you know of a meet i'm trying to start up...location will be in vancouver canada....i wont have an exact location until mid jan cuz i'm still in germany for business....and i wanna scope out some locations first....but as for now probably stanly park in vancouver and the meet will be on Sat 21-feb
let me know if you guyz are interested....
I'm also thinkin about doin this event to raise up some dough to donate to cancer research organization since i know that most people know of someone that has cancer including myself with my mother-in-law....
so please come out and support Club Lexus, My.IS and tuners alike

To vancouver drivers:
if you have a better location...please let me know since i am not from vancouver and don't know all the HOTSPOTS.....i'm hoping for a great turnout

there's a mini parking lot by Stanley park by Beach Avenue...I'll try and see if I can reserve or something

yeah pretty small, but I reckon it's good for 50-60 cars if we reserve the whole lot.

Stanley park may not be the best idea, but do the WA/OR people want to drive that far up?

how far would that be from washington?

About an hour North of the border.

We need our PNW section now, especially since we have one of these threads in the Canada & Pacific section. (I put the request in earlier today for those of you who didn't see my anouncement in the other thread)

Normally I cant make it out to meets, but this one I'd be able to make it!! Count me in for sure!
I'll post up spots as I think of them. But off the top of my head.. Granville Island (although maybe too small), New West Quay, Lonsdale Quay, SFU, UBC?.. my house!?

Thankz for everybody's help and inputs...please spread the word to other drivers that arent on any forums and other forums.....and as far as right now i have some peepz in washingotn that don't mind the drive...its a good way to stretch out the legs on everybody's ride.....and i figure BC peepz come down to seattle so this is jus a turnaround...show WA what ya'll got

i certainly would love to go to a meet you organize, but i personally think feb 21 is too early (snow & ice maybe?). you'll have a higher turn out and better looking cars showing up if you hold the meet in the spring, say late march or early april (who's gonna show up with their nice aftermarket rims wrapped in summer performance tires in the winter time?)

just a thought...Burnaby posted some shot of his car at the old yvr airport, i think the location would be secluded enough and I'm sure it would look quite nice to hold a meeting there

Well hopefully the weather would be on our side but regardless.....rain, snow, or shine....peepz dat are dedicated will show up....i mean i hate the cold but to be able to meet up with fellow tuners...even if it was snowing i would go.....besides this is a chance to meet up more pplz...make new friendships and connections.....its not really gonna be a big event although i would like it to be that way....and hell yeah...i'll prolly arrange another one later in the year....summer in BC is awesome

Hey KAYDEE thanks for the info...sounds like a good spot to have the meet.....would we have any problems of just coming here or would we have to talk to someone and set up a reservation?.....i get back to states in a month and i'll defenitely hit up these spots....if you can help me scout out these spots PM me for your contact info....
