ok i talked to a local print shop that does vinyls for a good price and sent them my files

for version A, it might be almost impossible to do a cut out (because of the club lexus inside the C and the L)
but he could print it on transparent vinyl

or i can revise the design of version A


for version B (long one, revision 4), it will be time consuming to pick out the background vinyl after it is cut too esp for the part of the "ifi" in "pacific"
so i told the guy that i might be able to do it myself to save him time and save us some money

im going to the shop on thursday to check out some samples
going there at 3:20pm

ill keep everyone updated

but now we should start making a thread seeing how many people want one and are willing to pay for it (should be under $3.5 before tax)

 

wow $3.5??? NICEEE. that's way cheaper than i thought (~$10 each)...

not a quote yet so dont take my word on it just yet

also im doing the picking out of the background myself to save us money
but if everyone is willing to pay quite a bit more and have the shop do it then thats possible too

Signature images still work, you just have to set them up using the sigpic feature like the link says. I just did yours for you.

for version B, the background is your car's window
so it is a cut out

but it is cut from a whole solid piece of vinyl so after it is cut by the machine, someone will have to go pick out the pieces to be discarded manually
because the "ifi" in "pacific" is delicate, small, complicated
it will cost more to have a shop to do it

so i offered to do it since i have some time or we can do it ourselves
it isnt hard


but for version A, because the "club" and "Lexus" in C and L are too small
especially for the 2 holes in "B", the whole decal will be printed on transparent vinyl
