Does anybody here know a good place to repair aftermarket wheels? I accidently curbbed my wheel today and dont know where to take it to
My wheel is in gunmetal color, will it be hard to match the original color?

Thanks

NuBrite is hands down the best anywhere in the LML/BC.
I've been dealing with them for years and have never had bad experience. Cannot say the same about Panther or Greens, as I have seen with a lot of customers and their cars.

I've used Nubrite in the past before & was quite happy with their work.

Did you guys find Nubrite to fix oem wheels or aftermarket wheels?
if aftermarket wheels, will they fix it and get it back to original or just repaint all set?

I work at a wheel and tire shop and anytime a customer wants to get a wheel repaired we use NuBrite. They are very professional. They fix both OEM and aftermarket. The average curb repair is about $250-275 depending how much work is required (masking, re-straightening, etc). If its a cheap aftermarket wheels (under $300 each) then just replace it.

They just refinished my Leon Hardritt Ordens. FedEx dumped them off the truck and put minor bends in all of the chipping the clear coat on 3 of them. While they had them, I got them to machine cut the faces and fix a couple other issue areas.
They are the only shop in around capable of doing a perfect diamond machine cut face on a 19/20/+" wheel.

Not sure if anyone checks this thread much anymore, it definitely isint as active as it was a few years back..

BUT, I am looking for some aftermarket staggered 18-19's with new or near new tires. Budget of ~$1500. A few hundred more depending on condition and brand, a few hundred less if theyre reps like Varrstoens (would prefer the real deal though).
I'm looking at a number of wheels on different forums, but a combination of the exchange/shipping/duties puts most of them over budget for me. So I figured I'd see what good 'ol CL Vancouver has laying around their garages!
PM me and let me know!

Call up CanAmer shipping in Blaine, get an account and ship your wheels there.
Get the seller to agree to modify the sale thread and change the asking price to something lower, and take a screen shot of it.
Pay via paypal in 2 separate payments one for the lowered value and the other for the remainder. when you go pick. when you go down to pick them up, take the screen shot and the corresponding paypal invoice, pay your tax on the way back...

easy and WAY more options than buying the haggard and over priced crap on the Vancouver CL!

^ yeah I've considered doing something like that.
And you're right, what few wheels there are in BC that arent Honda fitment, are ridiculously overpriced..

I never thought of splitting up the payments... really good idea. I'll have to try this.... do they not give you ***** at the border, esp if they notice you crossing 2x in 1 day?

I was tempted to buy the GFX rear bumper from sewell, have it shipped to Blaine, and install it right there to save myself the shipping and duty LOL

you just pay for the parts in 2 separate transactions, and you only go across once and pay your tax/duties on the cheaper payment invoice that you brought with you to declare.
it's technically fraud, so do it at your own risk. but if you do it right, it will give them no reason to bother you...

paypal = invoice, no problem
paypal =/= invoice, red flag and bring buttlube!
