i do it in my apartment's garage
theres a wash bay there
while the water from the hose isnt heated, at least the wash bay is indoors (but it is right beside the garage gate)
if any of u like, i can let u into my garage to wash ur cars
just shoot me a PM
i live by lougheed mall

sometimes i go to the Esso's wand wash by my place too
the water there is heated and the high pressure nozzle works well to get the large debris off
but still need to use a wash mitt and soap to get the salt off

what the hell is with this weather?!?

i woke up to slushy stuff in n. bby and thought it would be okay going to work... but once i turned off kingsway onto king edward all hell broke loose... even the transit buses were stuck trying to get up the hill because they had to stop at the bus stops... it's been a 1/2 hour since i parked the car and it's already got 2-3 inches of snow on it... i'm wondering if i will be sleeping in the office tonight

Ben T: *IF* you wanted to go to an automated wash why not go to the touchless where you just drive in and park? no tow rails there?

LX470 for Snow, SC430 for summer fun!

Snow always hits us hard here in Alberta. In Calgary the snow disappears because of all the Chinooks but Edmonton isn't as fortunate.

Good luck you van-city drivers.

i've booked a full detail for my girl's G35 at http://www.downtownautospa.com who are pretty close to you... they had 50% off pre-bookings during boxing week or maybe it was 35% anyways... they don't have a price list online but i recall that exterior detail (depending on how much work u want done) is available for around $100 maybe under... i think a wash is $30-50 again depending...

they are a pretty active sponsor of revscene so their reputation is pretty solid... i haven't had any services done yet but i have booked one...

cheers!

oh yeah downtown auto spa
ill try calling them
they seem nice, have answered my question b4 that i posted on revscene about 303 protectant

when i was living in north van, my apartment manager owned a place called Pearls of Pristine i think
not sure if he still owns that place as the name has been changed to The Vancouver Autospa Inc.
ill give them a call tomorrow morning, if he still owns that place, ill try to get some deals for us all
i remember when i was a kid living in that building, he always drives some nice cars home
like ML55 back in 1999...

Downtown auto spa...

hope u guys have better luck dealing with them.

That place pissed me off (excuse my language). Had to go back to get them to do things over and over. Its like an never ending story. I won't go into detail unless u guys want to hear about it. I had an horrible experience with them. Lies and empty promises. Also, they don't apologize for their mistake. The sale rep. does not know anything about customer service.
