Camera installer in Toronto area needed
 

Hi folks,

I would very much appreciate your help in trying to locate a certain sound systems installer in the Toronto area. There has been a posting of last year in the GX470 forum of how a member (who appears to have dropped out from this forum) had a rear parking camera fitted in his non-RearSeat EntertainmentSystem GX470 along with any needed "controller"/ECU for c. $500. This is the very thing I'm trying to achieve in my '05 Land Cruiser (uses the same SatNav) in Greece. So far, I've not come across any other solution.

Does anyone living in Toronto know of a shop/installer that has carried out such a task, or, indeed, a fellow GX470 owner that has had this done to his truck?

I am not sure what you want to do. A rear view camera visible from a non rear seat display?
Anyway Kromer Radio on bathurst st. south of college may be able to help you. I don't think you'll touch it for $500 though.

I want a rear/parking camera (got a BEC104) that'll show what's behind me when I shift in reverse. The output video will be shown on the SatNav's (touchscreen) display
