I really feel like I need to have a stop shopping/buying spree lmao .

just found out my truck needs a valve body as well 😢😢, might be time to start looking at Yukon xl’s or Surburban’s as a new tow rig

Well guys when it rains it pours…. Pulled the head to have it shipped off to run into a costly roadblock! Cylinder 3 and 4 have some rust and pitting on the top 4 inches of the cylinder walls. My heart slowly sunk into the back of my chest as this is a pretty big set back. Took a few hours to think about all the different paths I could take , ran numbers left right and up and down, decided to part with all the parts I’ve been stock piling over the past two years and it’s time to stop playing child games and just bite the bullet….. billet mains, diamond pistons, turbo tuff rods here we come. Waiting on a few quotes to come in , then getting the motor and head shipped off. More to come !

Please keep us up to date with your engine build. I know it was rough decision but with what you had in your car and also engine parts it was the only decision to make and now you can go for the gold. Good luck and we will be looking for those installments.

yeah it can be easily taken to 86.5 which is the way I’m going to go and 10.1 compression. Tough issue is finding the rods in stock, bottom end will be built for a little over kill.

Damn - always a tough thing to come into. Glad to hear you have enough room to bore it out. This thing just keeps getting wilder and I'm loving it! *Easy for the guy who isn't paying for it to say I suppose* LOL

spa turbo manifold

fid 1600cc injectors
custom intake manifold
Bc 272 cams

literally everything new in box.

going to use the money to fund some of the motor , then buy the bigger supporting parts needed for the 4 digit club

Well if you guys decide to do the corn carbon trim … my honest review is pull the dash out. Fitment is decent , but the glue they use for the vents to mount to is absolute trash. Not going to lie but for $500 usd I expect better quality. Hope the door trims have a better Fitment and the mounting points have more glue used.

See the waves over the middle of the vent? Also the alignment screws for the center vents are not in the correct places for the carbon trim to screw to the vent housing…

Were you able to get the wood trim out without pulling the dash? I need to remove mine to either paint/polish/or wrap it. I've just been too lazy because I don't want to pull my dash any time soon lol.

Too bad about the fitment over the vents. The finish on that looks incredible - but I wouldn't have noticed that fitment over the center vents in the photo without you saying something lol.

Yes you can do it without pulling the dash as I did it that way. Way easier to pull the dash to gain room but it’s doable . I recommend pulling the pass side seat , the passager side crash bar that protects your knees , the lower ac vent , one screw- and the glove box @RudysSC

^ Good to know my friend! I need to spend some time diagnosing mine and then hopefully I can make some time to tinker with some fun cosmetic stuff one of these days!

Update, before doing your door panels order all new clips. Glad I hoard all sc stuff but I went thru like 4 sets of door panels and robbed clips lol , I’m going to order a ton just to have them as backups. The door trim fits really well.

my other carbon parts should be shipping in the next few weeks!
