Just a small update: used Delphi gas tank cleaner to get the tank cleaned after welding up the guide pin holes in the bottom of the tank. 3rd fuel pump should be shipped out this week then to plumb up my phr hanger and run the evap delete vent hose and filter. Hoping to have the tank out back in by next weekend(ish). Not sure how well the tank cleaner worked , but I guess it’s as good as it gets lol
Small update. Ended up buying a press and getting the rear spindles and bearings pulled. I also removed the rear traction link bushings as I have Ikeya formula spherical bushings to put in place as a replacement.

if anything needs to be refreshed or I touch it, it’s getting cleaned and coated. Parts are becoming harder and harder to find. I think I may end up buying new window trims for the front unless corn carbon starts making them in carbon. Hopefully stronger than the oem piece . You know, I built a great little 92 Civic hatchback back in the day with a killer K20 swap and a 6-speed trans both out of an RSX type s. I kept a spreadsheet of all of the costs, and even though at the time I considered that a budget build, I'll never keep track like that ever again haha. I also don't have the free income these days like I used to. However, regardless of that, every once in a while you just have to go all out. It's such a badass build that I think you're truly going to cherish this thing once it's done.

yeah that’s the goal, and when it’s done I got a 94 shell that will get all the sauce . I stopped working on that one to focus on getting one car done at a time. Thanks for the kind words as always, should have some updates next week

you can ! Just take your wallet and throw it out the window… fees like I’ve done that lol. Just takes ton of time and long nights. Work 8-10 hours, spend time with the family before and after work 5 hours, eat 1-1.5 hours, things around the house daily 2 hours, sleep 4-5, work in the garage the other 1-3 hours. REPEAT
Small update. Been a long few days to say the least.
Picked up the parts from the powdercoater tonight, and had to do some clean up to get all the powder out from places it overflowed or over sprayed. Pressed in new wheel bearing, c clip went in easily (surprisingly lol) , got the rear inner seal knocked in, then run into a issue where rock auto list the outer seal as outer but it’s a freaking inner seal 😡. Need to try and find an outer seal locally , but just 😒 annoyed. Anyways here’s some pictures.
Powder color turned out awesome! Sucks about the seal... That's one of the hardest parts of in-depth builds on older cars is getting the right parts the first time around...

finally had time to knock this thing out. It’s kinda a pain to get it all situated in the tank, you can put two pumps on the hanger and snake it in, then put the middle pump in and seat them down, then flip it over and attach the middle pump, install filters, and hookup lines and power.
