Patton's SFP build

Welp,

I guess I should start a build thread.

I bought this car in May with zero plans of modding it. LOL, I should know myself better.

2012 is250 F sport in SFP

Car was bone stock when I picked it up minus the rear roof spoiler and weather tech rain guards.

First thing I did was remove the rain guards and faded roof spoiler.

Next up was fix the front bumper. When I bought it, the previous owner said he hit a car in a parking lot and it caused some cracking in the front bumper and the drivers side fog light was all jacked up.

When I took this on, I also wanted to add the lexus isf rear bumper to the car. I had a spare one from when someone hit me in a packing lot. It didn't cause alot of damage, but it was enough for my OCD self to buy a brand new one. Since I had the car apart, I also swapped over my Spec D tail lights from my ISF to give this car more or a smoked out look.

I think it came out pretty good. I also ditched the stock spoiler and went a replica wald spoiler.Blacked out the L logo and did a letter delete.. Next up is to cut the stock mufflers off and add quad tips like the ISF.

Tips are on! Pretty happy with the look and sound. Its not very loud which I like. I don't need 2 ridiculously loud cars.

Next up will be to take care of the headlights. They need to be restored.

Then new wheels. Pretty sure I'm going to shoot for the Avid.1 AV-32's with a square setup in matte black,

Then, possibly lowering springs. Not sure I would do anything else beyond that other than just basic maintenance. I might do some drilled rotors to match the ISF and change the caliper color from the green to blue as well.

The bumper is plug and play. I didn't have to do anything to fit it. I will say that if you are leaving the stock exhaust on, you will struggle. I removed the tip covers and had to bend the mufflers slightly to get it to fit until I did the muffler delete.

I'm still deciding on the wheels. I don't know if I want to refresh the stock wheels and run some spacers, get the ones mentioned above, or go spend a few hundred more and get some rotary/flow forged wheels.

Fixed the headlights and added an F sport intake and filter housing that I got off another member!

Good call on the rear spoiler. The OEM unit took a downgrade from the early years. You have some nice subtle changes going there that all look good together.

My to do list includes wheel spacers, black out the chrome trim, and replace the silver emblems with black chrome. And NOW a proper spoiler. Thanks! lol

Thanks! I feel like the color matched Wald spoiler is the only way to go on these cars. The reps are pretty cheap off eBay too!

Decided on these, and will run stock tires

18x8.5 +30 225/40/
18x9.5 +35 255/35

I also ordered some F sport lowering springs to tie it all together. Hoping to get a nice flush look with a finger gap or so.

Lookin good! Did you buy the car with the black window trim already done or did you do that yourself?

Thanks! I did that myself with some vinyl wrap. Super easy, probably took me 30-60 mins to do the entire car. I need to do the front grill now too.

Looking forward to see before and after pics of the f sport springs. I’m thinking of going that way. I don’t want to go to low. Just a little to fill the gap.

I'm a little curious too. I have 350 version and prefer the linear rate springs over the progressive ones.

I received the Wheels yesterday and put them on this afternoon.

I think they look pretty good! I'll get some better photos.

Springs shipped this week. So I hope to get them on in the next few weeks
