I have 57,000 miles on my 2004 LS430. My last oil change was 2, 400 miles ago on 1/15/19. I have owned the car since 2007 and this never happened before. In the past my lexus dealer service rep. told me it doesn't matter how long in between oil changes it only matters how many miles you put on. So with the very few miles I put on the car each year I some times years ago went 11 months before my regular 3,000 oil changes and this warning light never appeared. I just had my serpentine belt replaced and picked up the car this afternoon and the warning light went on tonight on the same day. Could they have done something to my car? What exactly does this warning light mean. Thanks.

Sweet! Bought a 2004 with 104k on it, fresh oil change, took it to my local non dealer Lexus repair shop to do a drain and fill on the trans... week later hit 105k and maint rq light came on. Thought I would need an interface to clear it and had ignored it for a while now. Just did a quick search, this post pops up... I am thinking NO WAY! this simple! YEP!
