My Panasonic battery gave up this week. I am not certain if it was the original battery or replaced sometime prior to my purchase in 2017.

Typical failure: first really cold morning after weeks of sitting idle: no crank, only clicks. I put my battery charger on it overnight, and it complained that the battery was bad. I disconnected and reconnected it, and it eventually said it was charged. I ran an errand, and it started with a notably slower crank. All symptoms of a battery in need of replacing.

I bought the rebranded Interstate battery from the dealer.
00544-MF240-575 for $172 net of core for the old battery.
Comes w 84-month warranty.

I turned the car on without starting it and watched the system do its preloading w the progress bar, waited until everything was on, and then started.
All is well.

You've gone quite some time/distance on your Tanabe springs w/ AVS shocks, and IIRC, you bought your car with higher mileage - how are your shocks holding up? Any sign of leakage or degradation in rebound control/ride quality?

I have a 2013 AWD LUX with 45K miles. I purchased it with 19K miles. I put RSR Superdown springs on my AVS shocks and they lasted 3 years and about 20K miles before they all wore out and the car got bouncy. But for 3 years and about 20K miles, the car rode perfectly stock.

I ordered BC coilovers now but have not installed them yet. Here is my car with 45K miles on Superdowns and 20’s. No rub with full U-Turn on 245-35-20.

Just ticked over 110k, no signs of shock leaks.

Hey there, just wanted your long-term feedback on the Tanabes for your AWD Lux. Any issues with the ride now that you've been on it for a while? Thanks!

It's perfect. Drop and ride are super, now at ~115k.

Didn't do much driving the last six months as I was sailing in the Bahamas.
