Rear right wheel bearing replacement
I replaced two front wheel bearing hub assemblies (Timken from Rockauto) all day today for my 2004 LS 430 (97k miles) . I finally managed to get the rusted assemblies out of the hub but it was a quite difficult job. Grinding/whining noise in the past 3 weeks and I had to take care of it today. Two down but one more (rear passenger) to go. I am relatively new to the nothern va area and does anyone know a good/quality repair shop in this area to replace it at a reasonable price? The dealership says about $1000 (labor + part) to replace, which I think is way more than my budget. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

What's stopping you from changing your that last one yourself? I recently hit a curb and busted my passenger front bearing. I had to use a duralast one since I needed the car in the morning
I'm planning on taking advantage of the 1yr warranty to have an extra one on hand. Next time I'd like to use those Timken assembly but I know that I can use those savings towards the timing belt kit.

Pole Position
The rear hubs are a pig of a thing to get out. The left rear on mine is totally wallered out after a year (didn't help I belted a curb with it), and its sitting on the lawn, languishing until I have some spare coin to fix the multitude of issues I have with it
