I think Defratos means the Torsen was a big leap from the stock unit. And asking why the OS Giken is better or different since the OP has had all three versions now

This is what i feel during those transitions. From elsd to torsen diff not much is the difference but from torsen to os giken , is alot difference.
You really feel that the F is a different animal in the corners.

Wonder how it is comparing the Cusco vs giken. I’ve been looking at those but want feedback mostly for the cusco seeing not many people go that route. Great info on the giken though. Did you need to add an additive for the clutch packs or just normal diff fluid that you would put in the torsen?

Passenger Seat just arrived! Another 30lbs plus less weight! Almost, shes ready for corner balance next week! Of all this goodies, Cant wait for the shakedown on May 27th @ Thunderhill raceway!

OS Giken also has a Motul gear oil they have approved for use with their spool. I've been running the Giken oil, but it's $50 a liter and the Motul they recommend is about half that. Given the excellent performance with their oil - no unusual noises at all other than a small whine on neutral throttle - I'm planning to stick with it.
Very cool build, I also have both a Civic Type R and ISF (among other racecars) I live down south but am always at Buttonwillow, Laguna, and Thunderhill I really hope to see you at the track sometime so i may check it out in person. I tracked in my ISF last weekend for the first time since none of my other racecars were ready and really, really enjoyed the platform. Its got me thinking i want to build a "I don't want to tow this weekend" track car out of it.
