TRANCE's RC-F Build [Australia]
Hey Guys,
Firstly; as way of introduction, my name is Alex and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I bought my 2015 Lexus RC-F in June this year and am totally smitten with it. The car came with a JoeZ exhaust, intake, filter, and Tom's spoiler lip. My previous cars have included 350Z, Golf R, Focus RS, M3, Lotus Exige S to name a few, plus a bunch of misc. bikes. Secondly; a big shout out to this forum and all it's members - it's an amazing community and has been super helpful for me so far (just wish we had more of an RC-F presence here down under). With that being said, I thought it timely to fire up my own build thread as there have been a few little updates to my 2015 RC-F. As well as the usual pictures, most of my updates are captured as part of my YouTube channel so I'll throw a couple of links up to different videos that show mods done to date. The rest of the channel covers local car meets, cruises, etc so feel free to browse :) Enjoy! Starting off OEM (sort of)... Lowering the RC-F on Swift Spec-R springs + SPC rear upper adjustable camber arms New Wheels! BC Forged HCS04S install + Rowen CF rear bumper blades Current state - and this is how it's sitting at the moment... https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...8195bf7b12.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...dcda6097c8.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...9dc9c1ffc8.jpg More to come - stay tuned! :D |

Teeny tiny update on the F. After the Christmas postal rush, the vinyl overlays I ordered from Blue Bat finally arrived so it was time to do a DIY. Having never applied any vinyl I was hesitant, but Andrew's products are top notch, cut to the right size, and came with descent instructions. I was pretty proud of the final product. I also took the opportunity to pop my Plasti Dip cherry and blacked out the rear emblems. Results were 'ok' but I think eventually I'll redo these in vinyl also.
So big shoutout to Andrew @bluebatoverlays for not only a great product that is well priced, but for also responding to my questions online. As always, the process was documented on my channel. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...b7ab6f37a8.png Tinted Tails https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...bef53c9049.png 5D Carbon fender vent overlay |

After 12 months of ownership I thought I'd do the obligatory 5 Loves and Hates on the RC-F.
