IS250 2010 Misfire codes Cylinders 5 and 6. Help.
Engine light/Trac Control light on. Car slowed in acceleration 2X the last 2 weeks. 69K, 2010. Mech. checked codes. Misfire cylinders 5&6. TSBL-SB-0029-10 & TSB#L-SB-0068-11. Spark plugs changed. New air filter installed. Lights are off now & car is running fine. Mechanic said there was a TSB related to these codes and the warranty covered the fix for 72 months AND 70K miles.. Dealer said the tech svc bulletin stated 72 months OR 70K miles, which ever came first. Owned beyond 72 months....$5000 to fix by dealer it if this code was correct .Dealer did not diagnose the problem. $175 to diagnose. Mechanic was free. If anyone has any insights/experience advice please let me know. TY.
