Alright fellas. Me and my dad drilled it. We used grease and all with a hole saw. We are still cleaing it out and will tap the sides right now. I got my finger in there and got most of the shavings out. They are reaalllllyyyy fine too. Super tiny. Will be back with another update very shortly.

Funky, I know lol

Default Big problem ou of the way.

Alright. All done hopefully. Cleaned out the insde with some scotch brite and a cotton swab AND compressed air. Im aware some super small shavings may have snuck past me but Im confident the oil pick up screen on the pump should pick them up. Used double split washers on each stud just in case since there was some dead thread peaking through. Now to get this build done.

Theres the hole.

Theres the double split washers

As always, any advice, throw it at me. Thanks fellas hope to hear from yall soon!

Ayeo! So I tried putting the flange thing on and when tightened it lines up to the side (15° to be exact) instead of straight up (90°). I imagine this is an issue. Cant run that thing a lil loose I imagine so, what to do?

Dat boi right there.

Did you add plumbers tape to your threads? That will make it tighter earlier and might help out.

Didnt know that was an option. Just so I understand tho plumbers tape does allow for removal unlike locktight and stuff right?

Yes it does, it is not like locktight, it just seals the threads to avoid leaks. You should use an oil proof thread sealant for all of your turbo oil lines.

Gotcha. Okay so I should use plumbers on my oil feed off the adapter BUT use locktight for the adapter itself. Use plumbers for the oil return at the bottom and thats it I think?

Default Headaches after headaches....

So. After getting pretty good progress and getting this dang project moving. Ive hit another headache..... the oil kits 45 doesnt clear the XS power manifold... Also I checked the turbo and it had some play. Not alot. It was still very stiff but you could tell it isnt perfect. Man this is starting to get fustrating but thats nat builds right?

Oil return hitting manifold.

Turbo not clearing due to oil return. Clocked 10 ish degrees
Hope to hear from yall soon

You're going to have to loosen the black oil return fitting and turn the 45 degree until it clears the manifold. To do this, you will have to remove the other end of the oil line from the oil pan, if it is already connected.

This is an issue with the smaller frame turbos. Had the same issue with my old precision 6176. Larger turbos have a larger cartridge which moved the oil lines out further from the flange.

So its not connect but the thing is if I move the 45 anywhere. It scrapes the manifold.. i had it at its lowest point and it still scratched the manifold.
