Default My RHD GS450h

Hello everyone! After years of owning BMWs, this is my first Lexus, the 2010 GS450h GWS191. What an amazing big, silent and powerful car! This car replaces my M3 and I must say that I enjoy driving the big hybrid more, maybe it's a sign of age

I tried both the 3GS and 4GS and liked the 3GS much more, with its full-blooded non-akinson motor actually feels faster and more muscular to drive. The 4GS felt a little too refined. I will be slowly putting some mods on the car over time.

I couldn't help it this is a 50mm stainless machined steel shift ****. Bought one off ebay, quality is surprisingly good.

Comes with an M8x1.25 Adapter for our auto shifters. Took less than a minute to install.

Wow that's so clean! Are you in Oregon? Why is the car RHD?

19x8 +35 with 245/35R19
19x10 +42 with 275/35R19

Need to use hubcentric rings 60.1 (Lexus) to 73mm
I would have preferred 19x9 in front but this is a second hand set from an RX-8 which actually came with tyres so I'll run it for now.

Couldn't stand the empty holes in the Wedssports so I decided to make some center caps. These are generic "OEM" style caps that you can get on Ebay, I extracted the Lexus logos from these. Then I measured the center bore of the Wedssports, it's 58.5mm, so I got a set of universal 63mm center caps with a 58mm bore and installed the Lexus emblems on them

Always wanted a flat bottomed steering wheel that wasn't too 'aggressive' and had a thicker grip. Found this on ebay from a seller who customises steering wheels https://www.ebay.com/str/ledermanzbygriguldesignusa. His work is fantastic.

Note that my steering wheel is the late model design, which is more elegant but less sporty. I had to get an airbag cover from an earlier 3GS and transfer the ignitor over.
