Default 1998 2jzgte swap help with MAF

hey guys, you all have helped out so much with my long ongoing swap and I need your help one more time. I can not get the MAF to work properly. If i disconnect and reconnect it, it runs great until the commuter finds it again. I have replaced the MAF, I have been swapping the gt and gte ecu back and forth to see if that works. NOPE. We have been swaping termination terminals around. its getting to the point were the mechanic helping me wants the electrical schematics to try and repin.

Anyway, for those who dont know, I took and aristo engine trans and ecu and am trying to swap it with a 1998 gs300 2jzge

swap is complete just need help getting the electrical finished

thanks,

Bob

you did a swap on a 98, it's plug and play, what type of issue is he having, and why is he swapping terminals around?

You using the aristo gte maf, not the gs300 maf, correct?

Thanks for the response I swaped out of a 1998 lexus gs300 to an aristo engine. I have ordered and replaced the maf 2x. the maf is not getting power. I cant think of the proper name for the terminating plugs, which is what we are swaping around. I am thinking of ordering new aristo termination plugs.

So you've ordered brand new jzs161 gte maf's at $250 each twice? Whats the part number of the maf you are running?

Yes I did. I originally ordered the maf when I started the build a year and a half ago. When we got the car running and the maf wasn't working I ordered another one because it was out of warranty.

part number denso 22204-46010? I suspect that aristo maf sensor is calibrated specifically to the 440 incjectors it runs on the jdm version. otherwise it'd be the same part number as the usdm maf sensor that runs 550cc injectors. Now that im running an aristo in my gs430, I'm learning how crazy it seems to be to come across oe parts for that engine like maf sensor or upstream o2 sensor.
