Came in the mail today! CF mirror caps. Call me a CF addict!
The gloss was not as good as the other CF items in the vehicle. I had to polish then seal it to bring out a better shine. Used my favorite wax, Dodo Juice Supernatural.
Will install later and post pics later. I have to purchase some double sided tape as it did not come with any.
Was able to install the CF mirror caps. I'll have to take better pictures tomorrow. It was too dark already to take outdoor shots.
im just not sure if I like the look though. It looks unfinished. I might go ahead and wrap the bottom of the mirror and make it Black.
I'm open to suggestions..
Or take inspiration from the Audi R8 GT. Notice how the bottom. Portion of their mirror is Aluminum/ satin silver. I wonder if that will look good in our IS.
Arrived a few days ago. Very unassuming box but holds some fun inside.
Installed it and there is a noticeable difference when you step on it! Just puttering around though it felt stock and gas mileage was about the same.
