Al's Black 2003 Sport Design Gs300
Welcome to my 'build' thread.
Recently purchased an 03' SD GS.
Specs:
- Bone stock
- New Power steering pump, all filters, lower ball joints, brakes, serpentine belt and oil
- 1 owner
- 123k miles
- No rust
- 1 month mechanical warranty
Not sure what I'm going to do to it as I buy and sell cars often.. the profit that can be made is somewhat unavoidable for me, haha. I'm going to be realistic with what I can and want to do and save dream plans for later.
- Future Modifications -
1) Buff, wax, polish
2) Coilovers
3) Wheels
4) Audio upgrade all the way around
5) Tints
6) Brakes upgrade
7) Lip kit
8) Exhaust
9) LED tails + interior lights
10) Manual swap?
(No particular order)
Seems as if the guy hasn't washed the car in forever so I apologize in advance for the car being filthy.
^ Would like a re-spray on the car but touch up will do for now ^
First day of ownership..
No rips, tears, or any funny business. Mats need a desperate wash.

Me too. It's going to be a long process but I think it's time I settle down for a little bit and 'build' something I always envisioned.

Ordered new clear fog lights and JDM ASTAR bulbs. Haven't done anything besides that. Was minutes away from buying another BMW but swayed away from that. Will be putting parts on but it'll be extremely slow.

So the order came in. The fogs look great and they bulbs are decent. Not getting alot of light output but it looks cool.
Fresh out of the box.
The passenger side fog light had a huge crack in it but of course my shadow ruins it..
Close up.
Not too bad. Needs low and a lip badly lol.

Car will take some time but time is what I have so let's do it!
Also looked at some RPF1's and found a set for a great price so debating on that as well.
Thinking of getting Megan Ez Street's right now. Will update once coils and stuff come in the mail.

I have not updated this is so long, almost gave the car to my father so I didn't know what was going to happen.
Bought a manual IS300 and thought I was going to build that but flipped it for some good money.
I've replaced both lower ball joints, both upper control arms, and driver side tie rods.
Due to spending its entire life in the Chicagoland area, lots of the suspension components are unfortunately rusty so I decided to swap all those out.
The car rides a little better but I think sway bar bushings, coilovers and maybe replacing some other stuff might be quite abit.. all within time.
