Default Hybrid battery replaced at 144k

Just an update and timestamp for myself. Updated the hybrid battery. No codes or anything really wrong, but decreased MPG and total tank distance. I was barely clearing 300miles per tank. New Oem battery installed by dealer, I had to push for the work as "nothing is wrong". I now see better mpg, and battery performance. I can charge the battery higher than I have ever before and seems to be faster as well. All in all a worthwhile upgrade to refresh the car.

Did the car feel faster? I'm thinking of doing this at some point, though there's nothing particularly wrong about my battery, seems OK.

Not necessarily faster, but it fixed the battery performance (car stays off the motor longer etc) The biggest improvement is being able to hold the charge for longer. I suppose that just leads to better performance overall. All in all it revived the car to new condition.

Hey RL9010, I have the same car. How would I be able to make the exhaust sound as loud as it can? Thanks

If loudness is your only goal...

...take off the mid and back sections of the exhaust...?

... O_O
