PAINT! So everyone asks me what color I chose and part of the reason why I wanted to document this build is to be able to share that kind of info. It's a custom color but if you google "Grigio Telesto" you'll see where the inspiration came from.

I had Andy at Elite sand and re-clear my ashy lenses while I worked on shadow chroming the housings at home.

Who doesn't love fresh paint?

Out the booth

MP bumpers (w/ retained parking sensors) and Aimgain grill

David! Thx broski. It's nothing crazy, and I know CL isn't as busy as it used to be, but I figure to have it documented somewhere before it gets buried and forgotten lol.

It's crunch time; the trip to Wekfest Long Beach is 2 days away and we're adding the final touches at Elite. So far so good, the car is almost back together. Of course this wouldn't be possible without Andy and the rest of the crew at Elite.

MP fogs are in along with my headlights. Wish I had time to retrofit the headlights but I just didn't have time. It'll have to wait till later.

Time to take her home! Shout out to John Liwanag (@vipstylecars) for letting me purchase this trailer off you lol.

We had some trouble with loading the car because of how wide the car is with the added camber. We had to remove the fenders off the trailer just so it would fit. I also had to remove the front wheel spacers otherwise it would hit the rebar you'll notice between the trailer wheels. Note I'm still missing my chrome trim and Celsior badging but that can wait until I reach SoCal. I also didn't have time to install my interior but at this point we'll have to wait until after Wekfest Long Beach to do so.

This car barely fits on this thing lol.

Made it back home where it'll sit until we leave in the AM.

May 25, 2017:
Leaving Sacramento with Shaun / Mary and also Tommy (not pictured). Praying I make it down safely.

10 minutes later CHP pulls me over lol

6 hours later we made it to Cypress Muffler to get some exhaust work done. Shout out to Malhar for the plug.
Before:

After:

After that we eat, check in our AIRBNB, and I head straight to Malhar's shop to help him prep in Long Beach and meet up with Malhar (@malhar29) along with Richardson (@richardson_hi) and JC Films (@j.c.films) whom both just flew in from Hawaii.

Finally I get to the Airbnb around 3 AM after driving from Sacramento since 5 AM. The Wekfest struggle is real.

After sleeping at around 3 AM I have to wake up at 8 AM to get my trailer out from Malhar's shop. After parking the trailer at my Airbnb we go straight to 714 Tires so I can try and get my front camber out a little more to match the rears. We eat and come back and end up staying at 714 till about 7 PM! Holy **** where has the time gone. We head back to Johnne (@e60daddy's) house to BBQ, get Hennessy-fied, and leave at 11 PM to get all of our cars washed. That evening we didn't get done with the car wash until about 1-2 AM knowing we have to wake up for Wekfest at 5 AM to meet with the crew at 6 AM and do our vendor roll in at 7 AM. Gotta love show season!

Back on the rack, this time at 714 Tires. Trying to achieve matching camber, but we have to revisit this project till after Wekfest Long Beach.

This will have to do for now.

My partna Lou (@mrmendozasays) showin us that money shot.

Who washes their car at 11 PM to 1 AM the night before Wekfest? PURE VIP does =

Alas, it's D-DAY. We made it to Wekfest Long Beach.

Staged and ready for all the dust to follow lol. Photo by @shoot.chris

As you can see, I'm parked right in front of the dirt....

..and being parked in front of the dirt all day calls for (photo by @IkeharaPhotography):

These loud jungle asians somehow won "Best Team Represent" (photo by @j.c.films)

And yet the best part of the day was being able to hang out with those "loud jungle asians." Wekfest LB is always busy and tiring, BUT it's also the most fun we've always had at a car show. Getting three chapters together (NorCal, SoCal, and Hawaii) is not an easy task, yet we all try to make time for the annual Long Beach show. I call the experience "beautifully exhausting." Now we can all breathe a little before Wekfest San Jose June 28th!

Your car looks incredible.

I want fenders like yours. They look so good.
