Default Hi All, just picked up a 97' SC300

Hi All,

Just picked up a 97' SC300. Short term goals are coils, wheels, LSD, and a manual swap ( if i can find a w58 or r154 that isn't a million bucks  )

Long term goals would probably include a GTE and a 154.

Just over 93k miles. Absolutely love this car!

here's some pics:

Congrats on the purchase!!!

It looks like you got one in good shape and with low miles too! It sure looks clean.

Thanks guys i paid up the butt for it but its super clean inside and out. These things really hold their value. This was one of two for sale in my entire state! The other one had 196k lol.

An old guy bought this for his 50th ten years ago at 64k and has never seen winter or barely even rain! There are some chips here or there but nothing too concerning.

welcome to the club. I am from Northern Illinois (Highland Park). We try and get together with guys from the site often here in chicago so if you ever get a chance, feel free to come on by. We will be at Streets of Woodfield this Sunday from 9a-12p for SC's and Coffee.

I'll have to make it down there sometime. My car is pretty boring right now, working on picking out some wheels

ride quality can be as soft as stock or firm like a race car. I personally have it in a medium spot between firm and soft and it rides great. Still has some body roll but these are big cars so i kindof expected that.

Good purchase overall, can't beat the price point

That's good to hear. Are you planning on lowering your car more? Bazreias and being slammed kind of go hand in hand with each other.
