Default The Underside of My 92 SC400 PICS INCLUDED

Here's bit of backstory for the car, bought it in January for 600 bucks, its got 99xxx miles and sat for a 2-3 months before I even moved it, and today I had the chance to put in on a lift, and here's what I found....
Front End by the motor
Rear suspension
Rear suspension
What I believe to be a fuel filter and break lines
Cross member and transmission pan, with a ton of oil on it
Another view of the fuel filter
Another view of the fuel filter
Area towards the motor
Rusty rear diff covered in oil

You could say so...now just not sure where to go next...,
  • replace the brake lines
  • fuel filter
  • Head Gaskets
  • oil pan gasket
  • trans gasket
  • service the differential
  • and really everything made of rubber...
Or get rid of it and buy something from dryer climates

Yeah there are enough SCs in the south and west to not have to worry about stuff like this. Just get rid of it and buy a plane ticket to Texas, Arizona, CA, NV etc.

What did you expect out of a 25 year old WI car that you paid pennies for.... all older cars look like that around here.

Completely Agree, but personally I wouldn't be able to travel out of state for a car for the time being, However, is the particular chassis not salvageable?
After doing research on forums and asking questions I'm told that transmission and oil pan gasket replacements and a good diff service are needed here and not much... and hopefully the rear main seal won't need to be done,
Thoughts? Any Input much appreciated

A heavily rusted vehicle will cost tons of money to restore. Not worth the time and money when there are a lot of SCs available for sale at a fraction of the cost to restore a heavily rusted car.

like it will be tough to even replace that fuel filter without breaking those fuel lines.

If you have the time, the will, and the resources anything is salvageable.

Some of the oil leaks could be that the form in place gasket stuff is in need of replacement. And all those rusty parts should either be sand blasted or wire brushed as best as possible and use a
phosphoric metal treatment to convert the rust and then paint it real well. Things like the springs should at some point be replaced because of the rust pits causing a stress point for them the break.
Simple brackets can be found at wrecking yards to replace any badly rusted ones.
