You should jack your front pressure up to 38 / 40 PSI, it will reduce that edge wear. In addition, if it does a bunch of short trips, toe it in slight amount. Remember; techs only put the car to spec which may not work for all situations so you adjust to your style and use which means toe it in a slight amount from where it is what ever that number is.

RR Racing Rear BBK
Hey everyone,
Been a while, just been messing around with my Z with headers a tune and etc recently but the IS is getting a small upgrade as well.
Finally pulling the trigger on the rr racing rear BBK to replace these pos calipers I've been having trouble with for years. With the exchange rate at its most favorable in a long time, and my calipers seizing again, it was a good time to sort out the IS.
Will update the thread again when I install them. Hopefully no more spongy brakes for once and for all

Rear BBK installed and I finally have my brake feel back. No more seized calipers from now on hopefully. As advertised they even clear my winter 17s! Starting to love the car again.
Before anyone comments, I did not do the fronts and so far under regular street braking there hasn't been any irregular handling. I'll figure out what I want to do with the fronts, maybe upgrade to 350 brakes to still fit under 17s or leave it. Haven't felt a difference in bias yet. Going by the logic that BBKs don't make your car stop faster, just better at more even pad contact and heat dissipation among other benefits I think I should be okay.

finally got a chance to replace my leaking Y pipe and replace a bunch of exhaust gaskets as well as get rid of my CELs once and for all! Seems like the ECU fault codes after I replaced the driver side bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor was for the passenger side bank 2 sensor 2. At this point the car feels like new again and I've fallen back in love with it. I think I'll get the aesthetics fixed up in the coming years now

Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0
Latest mod, switching back to OEM housings as my Spec D's have been leaking terribly and I haven't gotten around to resealing them. Gives me a chance to try out these highly rated Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0 LED bulbs. I got to say they really live up to their hype. The hot spot doesn't seem as intense as my MLED 1.0 retrofit but the light output and spread is much better throughout the range. I miss the crispy blue cutoff the MLED has though since I put these bulbs into my OEM projectors. Don't worry I won't switch the high beam to LEDs since it's a reflector type.
