Thanks for that last answer SCbounce! Also, is your car on coils? Because I'd really want to have your type of stance;
Mine set up is 19x8 front and 19x8.5 rear on g35 rays, 30 and 33mm offset
Also really hoping it could sit than this without having to relocate a harness.

The TT ecu mod for the obd2 is what was holding me back. Nobody knew how to do it over here so I'm not even gonna do that. Just gonna tune the stock ecu with the MAP ECU 2. A few people have had success with it so ill try my luck

Congrats! It looks great btw.
Only thing i would do now is go coil on plugs , If you dont have to go through smog use the obd1 ecu if you do then mk4 obd2 it is. I never understood why people couldnt get it to work , its wiring related problems im sure . Ive never had a problem with my 96 using the obd2 ecu

Lmao!! Whats up bro! longtime no see , no news! I hope all is well with you and the fam.
I can just seat and laugh about the **** we have done ...remember the day we started the wiring the tt ecu stuff..we did my distributor less setup etc.. good ole days .
Yeah about 10years now, and we learned alot along the way. Working at the Shop definitely pushed me to learn more and actually love wiring stuff.

I'm currently tuning the stock ecu with the map ecu 2. Not having a lot of fun with it but making some progress

This is a video of it running on the stock ecu.
Installed a TURBO GUARD blanket and filter as well and I am pleased with the product!

haha yeah those were good times man, I remember busting out my soldering iron and the whole wiring kit and I was already working on it before you got there.
My favorite was when you had those crank sensor wires backwards that one time on the ge vvti build.
Yeah its really not that bad once you know the basics. I might even wire my next build too if I can find some diagrams for the tacoma.
Looking good!!

Got to work on it this past weekend and attempted to install the USDM GTE ECU (OBD2) with the help of Danny (187) who drove an hour to my place 👍
We got the car fired up but the idle is around 14-1600. Checked the codes and it was giving me like 7 codes. We suspect that it might be IACV malfunctioning but I remembered that I didn't have that code on the NA ECU Prior to installing this GTE ECU. Also, got MAF codes, EGR codes and some others.
I'm gonna install a JZ MAP Sensor next and see how the car responds. The current map sensor is the one running off the MAP ECU 2 piggy back
