Hi
i crossed the posts when putting in a new battery and my 1995 lexus sc 300, went dead
i changed the blown fusible link 120 am and bought a brand new battery
now the car cranks up fine as if about to start but does not start
i checked the voltage on the battery and it reads 12.60
i applied a 20 volt boost and the car started up
drove it to autozone and they checked the battery which had now gone up to 14.6 volts
and the cranking amps were at 760
shut the car off and again the car cranks fine but did not start
applied the booster and it started right up
sometimes if i drive for an hour and shut it off and start in less than a min it starts

so now i am confused what can be the problem?
the car starts right away on a boost
the battery checks out perfect with enough cranking amps and voltage to start the car.
but never starts the car.

Can it be a bad ECU?? when i crossed the terminals initially.
But can a car run with a bad ecu when jumped??
i would appreciate someones help if possible
