Ciggy's 14' IS350 AWD Ultra White Build
#106
Updated the original post with most up to date mod list.
These days I'm saving up for the RR racing supercharger. I'm feeling really happy with the build so far but I am missing some key things.
I'd like to find a front lip I love. I really dislike most of the lines the aftermarket lips create. I kind of the like this ebay one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/191654879425 . I wonder what a body color splitter under this c/f lip would look like?
I also want to buy some c/f splitters for the jdm side skirts, I found perfect ones on ebay but they aren't cheap and will take some modifying.
SAGA makes c/f fog light housings... I need them... eventually. To make the car a show car it's important that I do a sound system and decorate the trunk. I'll have to get to this eventually.
After all said and done to really top it off I have a custom wrap in mind. But that will be the last item on the list entirely.
This season i'll be saving for a supercharger, I wont be showing the car and I'll be trying to make the rest of these items happen after the SC is with-in reach. For now, she gets driven on the weekend and I plan to do some deep detailing throughout the summer.
Some pics from a couple weekend ago, and then last weekend when I installed the TRD skirts....

Interesting looking lip, Looks like spinoff take on the Skipper with additional lines. Where did you get this lip from?

That lip does look good. It's between that and https://www.ebay.com/itm/191654879425
I'm really contemplating a c/f lip with a body color white splitter underneath it but cant find any photos online of others doing so.

Looks near-identical to the one I just got, but black:

Was also looking at the one from Ikon, which appears to be a little smaller -- sticks out maybe 1" less. I think the two are about the same as TJR had on his when he switched his. I wanted one that was understated, and like this one but may have preferred the Ikon.

Really nice car and mods list. Just picked up a IS myself last weekend and went poking around the interwebz for parts. Looks like you have just about everything on my wish list haha on a scale of 1-10 how much did the RR tune wake the car up? Any reason why you stuck with the f-sport items and not aftermarket (Intake and axle-back)?

Thanks!
The intake and the axle back exhaust that are produced by Lexus are beyond the most effective and best built.
The RR tune is nice, it does wake the car up and pulling to 7200 RPM is nice. But it's not going to throw you back in your seat. I'd say it's worth the cost.
