Jimmy,

Wanna sell me your OEM spoiler (the one with the third brake light built in)? If you still have it...and are not planning on putting it on after the re-spray.

PM me.

Thanks.

Couple pics of the car from today. It's getting close. Probably why we got 6" of snow.

Wow man that car is so pretty. The color is just spot on! Way to be a pioneer and take the risk of going with such a bold and drastic color. Really paid off at the end in my opinion!

So LEXis007 (Fadi) stopped by to see the car and he said it looks "even better in person than the pictures show". I was humble but it made me feel pretty good. It really DOES look so much better in person. My iPhone 7 doesn't do it justice. We need to do a real photo shoot this summer. The car probably won't be fast by then, but it'll look the part for sure!

I'll send my SC up to Illinois to have you paint it that color.

What specs did you end up going with on your front wheels? I saw you talk about 18x8 and 18x9.5.

Jimmy did you guys roll or cut the fenders before you painted the car? I hope you did...

All the wheels I've ever ran on my car, aside from my very first set (18" Ruff Racing same widths and offsets as your current set +35) required at least a roll to fit the car. We actually did a minor pull on the rears as well to fit my Work Meisters.

Thanks. I'm actually trying to fit an 18x9.5" in the front and figure out the offset.

I tell you, it takes a lot to impress me with these cars as most of what you see now days they are done like crap. Awesome job on this one buddy. Everything is very tastefully done. Wheel fitment is perfect and the paint is incredible. You should be extremely proud of the job you did.

thanks Shane! It's been a lot of fun transforming this car. It's nowhere near done yet but my goal is to make an OEM+ build. Something that looks like it could have come that way from the factory. I am very proud of this car so far!

Tomorrow is going to be like Christmas for my interior. Just ordered a new Parking brake, parking brake boot, center console upper with hazard switch and volume/temp *****, flip up cup holder, both black upper window trims with tweeter grills. All NEW Lexus parts. It wasn't cheap by any means but I couldn't find mint used parts and there were a few left in the country as many of our parts are being discontinued. This build will truly be like a new car when I'm done.
