Thanks Craig! It won’t be ready for a few months still. Have to build a harness, run fuel, etc. but it IS getting closer for sure.
To answer your question:
the vvti head has a hard line with 2 banjo fittings to provide oil to the vvti.
Powerhouse racing makes a 1/8” npt adapter to allow the use of the factory banjo bolt from the vvti where the oil pressure switch used to be.
I will use the is300 banjo bolt feed the turbo. I will put a T there to accommodate the oil pressure switch.

Excellent with the VVT-i solenoid oil feed. I'm glad to hear there is already a proven way to get a GTE VVT-i head onto any early 2JZ block. The oil pressure switch location is perfect.
Are you going to leave the engine out of the car until you can get the new harness fitted onto it? I've heard it is much easier to install a harness before the engine goes in.

i got a heck of a deal on a W55 from an is300. It’s cool cause the guy told me it’s made of glass. I was like “perfect! I love having something no one else has!” Cost me like $6k but he guaranteed me I’d be the only sc300 or Supra with it so... it’s pretty exclusive! 😂😂😂

Phr vvti fitting
Phr vvti fitting
Phr vvti fitting side
Stock oil pressure switch location on non-vvti block where Phr fitting goes
Phr power steering reservoir
Fit the turbo and started plumbing
Wastegate installed
Vvti line installed with Phr fitting
Craig, got the fitting from Powerhouse Racing for the vvti. Took a few pics which I will attach. It works flawlessly. Also started to plumb my turbo, put new motor mounts on, install my PHR power steering reservoir, finished installing my wedge seat brackets. Been a productive few days. Also finished my wire tuck. Man, go me. Lol

Jim, I just caught up on this and the progress is great! That engine looks beautiful!! The PHR oil pressure switch location to VVT-i solenoid adapter is certainly the business. You're gaining on this! Will the wiring harness be next?
Seeing the progress on your car is always a treat and you cover every detail in your build. I still say this is going to go much faster than you think it will!

its still a LONG way from complete. Fuel system, wiring harness, intercooler mounting, intercooler pipe hole cutting, run coolant lines for turbo, finish lines for oil for turbo, cut hole for trans, install pedals, throttle cable, clutch master, brake master... the list goes on lol
