Batmobile 4.0 Build
Hello! Some of you might know me from the IS forums here (I've had 4 of them), but I am happy to say I've finally upgraded to the RC-F
I do call my car the Batmobile because I am indeed a supernerd (Comics, Star Wars, YES PLEASE!) and this would be version 4.0. My 3.0 was the infamous black and (neon) yellow theme, but this time I've toned it down....just a bit.
Here's the info on 4.0 so far:
2017 Model Year (only change from prior years is the addition of AVS)
Color: Caviar (cause Batman would obviously want the sparkle in the black paint, duh)
Suspension: RSR Down Springs
Wheels: Forgestar CF5 (19x10, +40; 19x11, +38) in brushed electron blue finish
For those interested in that beautiful wheel finish, I got my wheels from Get Your Wheels:
I have a YouTube channel where I've been posting videos on her progress, so if you're interested, you can check out the latest video (the wheel install) here:
And of course, if you want to follow her progress elsewhere, here's all my social media:
https://instagram.com/integress
https://www.facebook.com/integress/

Hope to meet some of you other RCF owners some day!

Impressively Wrapped!
I brought Batmobile to Impressive Wrap in El Monte, CA for window tinting and some minor vinyl work over the long holiday break Impressive Wrap did all the vinyl on my last ride, so I had them apply some of the same treatment to my new ride (the wrapped chrome grille surround and my signature yellow DRLs); here's an image I made to show the transition- RCF on the left, IS on the right
So here's the plan I had for the car before going in:
And Impressive Wrap was able to do most of what I had planned and even something I didn't have planned (because I didn't know they could do it!)-- They were able to wrap the chrome around the window in the same black sparkly vinyl they used on the chrome around the grille surround:
Here's how the car looks now!
Here's the latest video on YouTube showcasing the lovely work Impressive Wrap did
The only thing we didn't do was the tint on the front emblem. I want to make sure it won't interfere with the Pre-Crash sensor in there-- I don't think a film over the emblem will be a problem, but does anybody here know for sure? I'd really like to darken it:

Jen,
Congrats on the new whip! You got the car looking right! Love the black & blue combo.
Do you know what brand yellow film they used on your dtrl ?
I tinted mine using tint from vivid vinyl. It has held up really well but the color is really deep yellow.
The pics of your car it looks like the yellow color is lighter which I like better.
Any info you can share? Thanks.

Thank you!!! That's a good question! I'll ask the guys at the shop and get back to ya on that. Can you post a pic of yours? I'm curious how different it looks!
