Hi guys, I recently got a used '99 GS 400 and have been driving it for a while now. I have been getting an intermittent VSC, ABS and VSC OFF lights coming on and would clear upon the next restart. The car would drive fine without any issues and this occurred maybe three times now. Ive already put on 8000 miles on the car and have changed the oil with full synthetic. Yesterday I was slowing down for a stop and the car started shaking. At full stop it had a rough idle and the CEL, VSC and VSC OFF came on. I threw it in neutral and the shaking stop with a little higher RPM. I pulled over and check temp, oil and transmission fluid- all is good. I drove it home and have to put it in neutral at every stop- however the car runs and shifts fine at higher RPM. The car would be idling at 1000RPM which is higher than usual, turning on the AC would cause it to rough idle. I have not check the codes yet as im still looking for my reader. If anyone can offer clues, advice, it would be pretty much appreciated. Thanks

Finally got to reseting my password and excited to see all replies.. hahaha. NADA. If anyone care to read I was able to troubleshoot along time ago and it turned out to be the VVT oil control valve on the passenger side bank. can't remember all the codes now but pretty much the entire bank was misfiring. Replaced that last september and last month the other side failed also. same symptoms. high and rough idle, sluggish on accel. when i pulled the old once and hit it with 12VDC the solenoid actuates but will not reset completely, got to knock it with something for it to reset.
