HKS is out until the bearings show up from Japan.

Teins are in and I got the car aligned.

I had to raise the car up because of the overall softness of the teins was making my wheels rub. So far I've noticed my car dives a lot more when I brake and it doesn't feel as stable in corners, but that is expected.

I would consider this setup great for anyone looking for OEM supra tt suspension, but they want the car to be a little lower. If you're buying brand new, then skip the Tein Basis coil and go for Tein Street advance. I think the dampening would help a lot.

Take a look at this thread. I had my wheel redone by them and it turned out great.

Thanks, I remember coming across a lot of great reviews for craft customs when I was looking for recommendations. I'm trying to find a local shop, so I can see their work first hand and feel their leather samples.

I always thought an all chrome grill would look nice, but now I'm not so sure. Any thoughts?

I think the chrome grille would go well with the theme you have going on the car and compliment the wheels (which BTW are one of the nicest wheels I've seen on an SC).

Thanks, I'm considering redoing the wheels again once I need new tires because my friend's car has the same color theme going on as mine. He had polished wheels, repainted his car Bianco Canopus, and he might get green brakes too. He's the one that gave me the idea to get green brakes though, so I can't be too mad.

7 Weeks later, the bearings have finally arrived.

Now, I'm debating if I should sell the HKS so someone else can enjoy them during their peak performance with all new shafts and seals. I'm working on negotiating a deal for air cups right now, and if all goes well, then I'll have them in a few weeks. It seems like a waste to run them on freshly rebuilt HKS coils. The last thing I want is to end up with another set of damaged shafts on these coilovers.

I bought some used Battle version subframe mounts. I thought I was getting a really good deal, but the seller never mentioned that the holes were drilled out. It would have been nice if this was disclosed. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller.

Curious why would they drill out the holes? Isn't that supposed to line up with the holes that were already there?

Seller said the original holes didn't line up, so he drilled it out to fit on to his car. It means they were bad from battle version or his car was tweaked in an accident. I can imagine either one of them being the reason. The seller offered me a full refund, so I'll be shipping them back to him. I just ordered TMS billet mounts instead.

Interesting. Both of those would be good guesses. Otherwise I am not sure why they would not line up with the threads on the body...

I've been looking at pictures of the BV mount, TMS, and PHR billet mounts. They all have around the same spacing, and there is no reason for it to be drilled out as much as they have been. Hopefully there won't be any issues with the Titan sway bars I bought from this guy.

The seller of the BV mounts and myself couldn't reach an amicable solution this morning. I'm pretty sure he has blocked me on facebook. I'll wait until the titan sways to come in, so I can inspect them before I decide how to proceed.

These came in today. Some rebuilt supra TT calipers. I'll be installing them after they get painted green. The calipers on my car don't feel right in terms of pedal pressure and I chipped the paint on them by trying to run too small of a spacer.

Too bad removing the bumper is so much work or it would already be installed.
