Default i'm back with a 99 SC / 1jzvvti swap

i'll just post a bunch of pictures. most of it will make sense.
i got this car for $1500, and it has 401k miles on it.
the plan is to make a track car out of it for ~$5000, but i'm now up to $6000 :/

ZERO COMPRESSION IN #6 CYLINDER UPON STARTUP. sent the engine back, got a replacement that was in perfect shape, reinstalled, fired up, ran like a champ.

Good to see you back, Cartmill! Nice new car (401K miles in that shape is inspiring!) and my favorite JZ engine in there! Your dog is very photogenic

Welcome back! Nice 1500 grab, I like the way you mounted that FMIC-GL with your build.

thanks guys.

another small update:

i was having a seemingly random hesitation at full throttle.
i replaced the spark plugs which were very very worn (shown above), which helped, but didnt totally fix it.
so i tried out the 12v mod, and it completely fixed the issue! i am pretty sure the hesitation was fuel starvation and/or the switching of voltage up and down.

aw yeah!!
