I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Probably sometime next week if we get some decent weather.

Sweetness Ron!!
where did you dig up that gem?
what did you do to make it fit?
If that was on my car, it would be a no go as the brackets block the shock adjustment. But I see yours have that sweet thumb ****. Wish the Penske had that...

I never heard the verdict on whether the TRD Carbon trunk brace gave a noticeable stiffness difference or driving feel ?

Thanks!, I have a local friend that gets parts from Japan auctions. He traveled to Japan not too long ago and ended up with 3 sets of Chaser bars along with other things. Some modification is needed to make it work, mainly mounting issues, but the length is on point for the RCF. The bolt spacing for the strut studs is just a hair off so I drilled out the holes on the brackets ever so slightly. I need to enlarge the counter sinks so I can use the stock beefy nuts. Then, I need to make some 3/8"-1/2" spacers to raise the uprights to clear the engine cover, drill and tap holes to bolt them down and that's it. I'll keep my thread updated with these actual steps in case someone wants to do it.

About the TRD rear partition brace, I'd say the difference is very small, it is noticeable though. The RCF is already stiff but this stiffens it up even more, you just lose the small trunk to cabin door. With the steel brace and door assembly combined, compared to the TRD piece, TRD is lighter.

~Ron

Drilled and tapped the mounting plate. Now just need to make the spacers for the upright mounts!
