Default Daily GS300 Mild Build in one week TRD Work JDM Daizen RSR Greddy

Whats up folks. I finally found a clean GS with black interior after looking for about 3 months. I was able to find it locally - a 1 Owner 2002 Silver on Black with 93k Miles / Garage Kept / No Accidents! I was super satisfied with the car all stock but it couldn't remain like that for long. These cars look so good with just minor upgrades! So I made a list of the mods I wanted to do and gathered up all the parts. After the 3rd week of ownership I got all the parts in and installed them at my shop Drag International www.DRAGint.com . I am really happy with the ride from the rsr springs and kyb shocks as well as the daizen urethane bushings. The hankook tires are really nice also, very quiet so far. One of the best mods was putting some pure silicone on all of the rubber window and door seals! It got rid of plenty of wind noise and the interior is much quieter with all of the seals lubricated. I did not lower the car too much because I wanted as close to factory alignment as possible since I was going to run expensive 19 Inch tires and a decent brand. I have to drive a lot to and from my sons school. The car came out great and the next mod will be a 2JZGTE Swap but not for a while as my engine works great.

Purchased from Amazon for the low low:
Kellog Pure Silicone for the Window and Door Rubber Seals
Isimple Bluetooth adapter on stock radio
Rockford Fosgate Self Powerd 10 Inch P300-10
9006 HID 3000K Yellow Lights for Foglights
Daizen Steering Rack Bushings
Daizen Sway Bar Bushings
Borla 20155 Exhaust Tips

Employee hookup from my shop DRAG International:
OEM JZS147 Aristo Strut Tower Bar
OEM JZS161 Aristo Clear Housing HID Headlights
RSR TI2000 Lowering Springs
KYB 4 Way Adjustable Shocks
OEM JZS161 Aristo Rain Guards
TRD Authentic Mesh Grill Paint Matched by Team Dynamic Autobody
Greddy Replica Urethane Front Lip Paint Matched by Team Dynamic Autobody

Purchased from RavSpec during Winter Sales Promo for an awesome price:
Work Wheels CR2P in 19x9 +35 and 19x10.5 +45
Work Red Flat Center Caps
Work Aluminum Black Lugs

Purchased locally and perfectly balanced at Elite Roads:
Hankook Ventus Evo 2 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 - Even 26 inch Diameter

All stock Fenders and No Rubbing whatsoever

Looks great, a set of LED side mirrors would match the headlights and complete the look.

Can you give us some details on the silicone spray you used on the seals? My GS has quite a bit of wind noise on the highway due to old seals.

Thanks buddy - I am glad we could help!

Well my car was already out of factory alignment specs by a few tenths of a degree so any lower would not be good for handling / tire wear. I got the front lip to help it look lower lol

Thanks boss. I used this silicone spray. Keep it off of paint and plastic surfaces. Spray on a rag and wipe on.

Could you specify which seals you applied the silicone to?

I'd imagine all of them; couldn't hurt!

OP, very clean car and fast progress. In a world of slammed GS's, I'd say the ride height is perfect.

Haha well the only seal I know of is the one under the driver side floor. And I only know of that one cause of the wet carpet problem. Never really looked into where the other seals are.

Thank you sir! I feel the same way, i see more slammed GS than moderate mild drop GS.

Very nice and awesome daily ride.
I appreciate the kind words!

The door itself has a rubber seal that goes around the entire door and contacts the chassis. The chassis itself in the door frame has rubber seals as well that contact the door. I put silicone on all of the them. Also the Windows slide on rubber seals in the window frame. I put all the windows down and put silicone on the rubbers in the window tracks.

needs to get a little bit lower, without changing springs, some RCA for both front and rear (15mm)

but none the less, nice and clean

Good suggestion if your not trying to swap suspension. Won't go low but will make a difference

Good idea guys. I did not think about RCA for 2GS until you mentioned it - I looked it up and it seems like the perfect solution in 17-18mm to lower the front to match the rear!
