Default Sorry for the HIATUS

The 1.5JZ is still coming along. The long block is currently at the Engine Shop getting its bits together, the intake and itbs are getting fabbed up and my Canadian fabricator will be doing my one off custom 6 to 1 header. I promise to updated the VLOG and Clublexus thread as soon as I can. I will also have photos and descriptions of the process. Not much has changed since my last update except that the build really won't be built for drifting anymore. It now has more of a Track and Street purpose. I have a new idea of how my interior will be to compliment the car. Since I won't be going NA-T anymore either. My power goals are 250-300hp (w/o methanol injection). I love the car enough to allow it to be versatile. On and Off track feel. No trailer queen! I'm gonna go standalone either AEM Infinity or Apexi Power FC with a nice luxury/race stance and interior. Mostly custom! I won't jump straight into swapping out the 2J until I am completely done with it! The 2J will be my turbo build. Stay Tuned for more!

Default 2JZ VVT-I Block Decked .6000

Full Video below

**UPDATE**
After a few concerns of whether to use the stock Pistons. I was advised to maybe go with a new set. I'm really inspired to keep this build JDM as possicle so I'm gonna be breaking the bank on this engine build as to achieve out of it which is a High Compression, High Rev, Race Purpose Built Engine!
Im going with Tomei Cams, Tomei Pistons and Rods to compliment the Tomei Head Gasket. Not sure if I want to go with a Valvetrain kit yet because the stock 1JZ VVTI head is in such great condition and super clean valves they have to be used. I'm seeking a 10:5:1 CR

Default A lil weight reduction

Getting ready for my Racing Seats and complete interior overhaul that's well overdue! Been wanting to replace these heavy seats for a longtime yet also keep my interior luxurious. A lot more to come

Default Project Rebirth: New Interior

so sonce I ripped out my tired Ol interior I decided to just redo it ALL! I got an entire interior from a fellow SC owner who I appreciate so much for just giving it to me no charge just had to travel 700 miles but hey a bird in the hand is worth more than two in a bush! I went two tone not all black and reupholstered a few thing and once I decide how I want to do my rear seats they'll get reupholstered too. I also have a nice touch with my headliner!
