I had to grind down the back end of the high beam shroud and then used a hole saw to enlarge the hole.

Oh that's awesome! Sounds good for the community, i've been following the developments of the new mini d2s.
If you don't mind, tell me about the grill on your car. It's perfect where I want to go with mine.
The front grill is from a Japan manufacturer called Rando Ryu LUX. Not sure if they are still in production but they pop up here and there, i've sold two in the past but havent seen anymore that popped up.
