Hi!

I have a 2013 IS 250 with about 16,600 miles on it, I've noticed this metal on metal sound whenever I place the car in reverse and then release my foot off the brake. I usually only really hear it in the mornings or when my car has been sitting for a while. I believe its coming from the front brakes? Its not as loud once i've been driving the car and going from place to place. Not sure if its an issue to where I should call the dealership since its a fairly new car. Help!

You probably park outside. It's simply a minor layer of surface rust building up on the rotor overnight. Once you hit the brake once/twice the rust is gone, and so is the sound. Completely normal for outdoor-parked rides.
