Easy to tell what style w58 did it have in it..i.e like what I asked you above.......did it have the remote style shifter like the soarer tripod r154....or did it have the swan neck style

If you existing tunnel flat it is not going to work because the soarer r154 sits further back and is higher up due to the tripod.....

From your classifieds ad I see you have the tripod w58....if that is the one that was in the car before you should be good...

It was hard for me to tell the difference from the factory 2 piece driveshaft and this DM aluminum one because I installed the DM driveshaft right when I had my GTE swap done (so the difference in HP and TQ changed everything as it was).

But I can tell you that my powertrain response feels amazing, and I'm sure the aluminum driveshaft has a lot to do with that. I've had it on for over a year now, and still 0 issues with plenty of WOT pulls.

Yeah it looks like it is 1, 3 or even 5th. In neutral the tripod shifter sits perpendicular to and in the center of the shifter trim pretty exact. looks like its coming along nicely!

Thanks Ali,
You have no idea how much having access to your brain and this TT ECUmod helps my confidence in how this goes. Thanks again for sharing that mod with the community.

I got a MKIV Auto TT Torsen Diff today!

That changes things a bit! Other than the obvious, how will this change my driving experience?

Nice man, same exact diff that I just got 2 weeks ago! Haven't had a chance to drive with my new diff either, but I guess there's only one way to find out.
