Hello CL,

I purchased my GS back in Feb 2014, and I immediately started searching for local members that had either done the same swap or could direct me to someone. I was fortunate to find local members that did just that, like Mr.Gs_GTE and denut-L. Now I am just collecting parts until I have everything I need to get the swap done.

I got to remove the auto tran today, I still need a engine stand to be able to work easier on it.

I don't know a lot about the 2JZ's I am learning still. The one who will be doing most of the work will I try to assist where I can, member Mr.Gs_GTE will be doing the majority of the swap. I'll try to learn more while that happens.

Just moved the engine off the pallet, needed to make some room and clean up a bit.

Yeah I did the R154 swap first and ran it on a stock 2jzge motor for a while until that rod knocked. I just completely my 2jzgte vvti swap a couple days ago. Still got stuff to do lol

Edit: Just some advice... My valve cover seals and maybe vvt-i cam o-ring are leaking so you might want to do that while the motors out. Also, if you pull off the oil filter sandwich plate ( to change motor mount locations if need be ).. Remember to replace this o-ring, I didn't and I got a leak now.

My engine stand should be here mid next week, then it will be easier to move around the garage.
