Thanks for the heads up, I'm trying to do everything I can before putting in the car. What else did you do to your engine before putting it in?

Yes I did everything myself except for the wiring harness, which I could've done but it would have added an extra 2-3 weeks time of figuring it all out.

As far as other things I changed before I put it in,

oil control valve filter (goes behind large banjo under OCV)
oil filter (if you remove sandwich plate make sure to replace o-ring behind it to block)
pilot bearing
thermostat
radiator hoses
spark plugs
pcv hoses between the valve covers
heater hoses (you might have to figure this out or use your old ones)
water temperature sender

check vacuum hoses and all your lines, connectors, etc..

Still in the box, the wife was nice to tell fedex to drop it in the garage and take a pic.

Taking all of those hoses, exhaust parts were an issue. I was getting tired taking it all apart seperately, so I just took everything that was attached to the block and unbolted the manifold. Much easier!! Without an engine stand it was much harder, but worth getting them removed. I was done at 2:30am and went to sleep.

Aside from those parts that I plan on getting I have cleaned my garage a bit and put the twin turbo parts back together to minimize the clutter.

Aside from that I am still collecting more parts. As you can see my list is getting smaller, unless I keep adding crap to it.

Sorry for the confusion here, that engine that the turbo and manifold sit on is not mine. I posted the pictures to show the pictures of the turbo, manifold, and downpipe that I was considering to buy from a member here in clublexus. But his engine which is very clean on the picture is not mine. I plan on getting mine that immaculate as well, but I am still working on buying those parts. After further questioning the clublexus is300 member noticed that my engine is a GTE while his is a GE so it wont work for me to buy the turbo kit from him. I can at least get the fuel pump setup. Again sorry for any confusion, I was just trying to share future mod plans and the member I was going to buy them from had send me pictures of what he had.

The picture below shows where I am still:

I need to take more parts off my engine to clean it up so it can look like what you saw above.
