Thumbs up Howie's 2003 GS300 Build

Hey all! I'm new to CL here but thought I'd start a thread following my 2003 GS300 build. I got the car used about a year and a half ago with ~35000 miles on it. I'm going to school in Manhattan so I don't drive it that frequently, but I'm starting to put some work into it.

I've made a few modifications this summer but haven't gotten the chance to do a proper shoot, so I'll upload those when I get the chance. I've done a bulb replace on pretty much every light in the car (DRLs, high beams, fog lights, 194 LEDs for the city lights, inner trunk / license plate lights, along with assorted LEDs for all interior lighting except the vanity mirror lights), along with a Spec-D taillight assembly. Lugnuts have been replaced with Muteki SR35 closed ends (blue chrome), OEM air filter with an aFe 31-10061 dry air filter, and exhaust output resonator deleted.

It's currently sitting at a friend's house without wheels as I've taken off the calipers to get them powder coated...on the bright side, I've gotten the experience early on of what is apparently the nastiest part to work on (the brakes). I also have a roof spoiler and vortex generator fins coming in pretty soon, and I'm planning on plasti-dipping the lower grille on the fender a darker tone to match the main grille.

Some other thoughts on future plans for the build...
(1) wind deflectors
(2) OBX exhaust headers
(3) reseaming interior upholstery
(4) headlight assembly replace
(5) *eventually* bagging it and new wheels
(6) 2JZ-GTE swap? Maybe...

Here's a couple pictures of the car, stock (these were taken shortly after it was purchased).

Wow, I haven't been up here in a while... been a couple mods further along the progress. Caliper powder coat was done, of course! I also recently installed a Tanabe Medalion Touring catback exhaust, which sounds phenomenal. Short sound clip below, longer one to come later.
