SC530 Drift Build (LSx/T56 Swapped SC300) *Picture Dump*

Hey Oochi! Car is GREAT! I've attended another drift event since the last update but only got to do 4 runs before my serpentine belt decided to fail and didn't have a replacement. Also, ended up crashing into a tire wall (not bad, just clipped it and dented my fender and broke a headlight tab haha).
I'm going to be doing another drift event this Saturday in Tucson. Pretty excited for this one. I'll be posting some pictures tonight from the last events .
As far as bearings, I went with Clevite replacements. Motor is running FANTASTIC! Not one hiccup and 700 miles so far and they're all HARD miles! Break in consisted of about 5 miles of moderate to heavy throttle and along with a lot of engine braking. From there, straight to the dyno and beat the **** out of it. I'm a firm believer in driving a motor hard to properly break it in. Don't cruise and always warm it up.

Haven't done an update in a while. Nothing has changed. Car is running strong as **** and now have almost 3K miles on the motor, no issues. I bought a DJI Mavic drone and had some fun with it yesterday...

Back from the dead!!!
Time to bring this back from the dead!!
The car has been running perfectly and I have about 2,700 hard miles on it. I ended up buying my first home and getting engaged, so life got in the way and the car collected dust. Last drift event I went to was 18 months ago. Here's some footage that I haven't shared...
Did some impromptu hot lapping. The guys at staging were signaling us to keep going, so we did just that
That same night, I dad my first wall tap and got it on film
All in all, super happy with the car, but now that things have settled with the house and stuff, it was time to put some more attention on the car and finally going to hopefully "finish" it (it probably will never be finished).
The plan is the following...
-Full wide body kit from KBD, should be arriving sometime this coming week
-Finally put on my rear dual caliper kit and an extra set of rear TT calipers should be arriving this coming week as well. Then take all 6 of my calipers to get powder coated (haven't decided on color)
-Hydro e-brake and custom lines
-I drive this car a lot on the street, so I wanted to put music back in and at the same time, I got some panels from LRB speed along with their sunroof delete kit.
-I went a little overboard on the audio with a ton of deadening since the LRB panel is aluminum and wanted to get rid of all rattles. Not to mention the component speakers I bought are CDT and the audio quality is out of this word crisp. HIGHLY recommend those speakers to anyone. To power it I got a Pioneer 4 channel amp and bridging two of the four channels for a subwoofer in the trunk. No deck though, just using a Bluetooth receiver directly to the amp and using my phone for audio control. I cut out the rear spare area in the trunk and going to cut some plywood to cover it up and mount the amp and sub to it.
-69" NRG GT wing because race car and roof spoiler
-I also had a power steering leak and it got EVERYWHERE. So I got a new rack and pinion and while I was there, I dropped the whole front subframe and power washed it.
I should have more progress next week when I start test fitting the body kit and then do prep work for paint. I have a color in mind but haven't decided on it.

Couple of updates!
-The body kit came! Funny how these kits come so folded and will get back to shape with heat. Problem is, we haven't had any hot days in AZ lol.
-Wheels are here. Will be going to get tires mounted this weekend. But so far, super happy with them! They're Aodhan DS05 18x10.5 +22 and 18x9.5 +22 front. I'll be running 50mm spacers with them.
-Removed the window tint. It was nasty, old, faded purple, and the car just looks soooooo much cleaner without it

This makes me miss my white SC on grids so much. Awesome build - I hope to tear mine apart and do something similar one day.

Amazing build. I've been following along over the years. It's been very inspirational for my LS swapped SC. Do you have any info on these dual caliper brackets? Nothing like these exist on the market and I have only ever seen them in this thread. I'd much prefer a set of brackets like these as opposed to the U bend battle version style.
Thanks!

Thanks man, really appreciate it! It's been going slower than I would've wanted, but life happens. Eventually it'll get done.
Regarding the brackets, these were made for fun by someone that I don't remember who it was and spent a grip of money to design and get them made. As far as I know, only 2 or 3 of these exist and not sure who else has them. These are very nice and super plug and play with no modifications needed. Eventually I'll get the brakes on and show them all finished.
