got the interior almost done, just got the front dash and wood trims left. i used a brushed aluminum vinyl wrap on the wood trims, it looks freaking awesome. It shimmers in the light and has this holographic look to it i absolutely love it. i'm gonna have to rewrap it though, in some parts the leather pushed it up so i gotta wrap around the edge on those parts.

i also started working on these little caps to cover the bolts where the oh ***** handle used to be. I'm gonna 3D print them, put the Lexus logo on it and some lights to match the color of my interior lighting.

i'm selling the car guys, just got tired of it and all the stress, it's just too high mileage for my budget to keep maintaining it. The spark plug blew out, so i had to use a helicoil kit to rethread the head. changed the wires because the one that blew cracked the wire plug. also redid the brakes cz there were leaks everywhere and the master was falling apart so i changed it. got a new car, a 2016 scion iM, yea it's slow, yea it doesn't sound awesome, but all i need is a daily to save money with, even though i'm paying off a loan lol. i'll stick around the forums, will still finish the tail lights, headlights, and custom bumper and will continue fixing clusters and needles for people cz i find it enjoyable.

here's the last pics i took of the car, it's currently sitting at a lot by a buddies garage, so hopefully someone buys it or trades me something for it, would like a motorcycle lol.

Wow man sucks to see you sell your SC, I've been following your build for quite some time and really admire what you've done to your car and the fresh ideas you brought to the SC section.

Hopefully you pick another one up. Whether it be in a few months or a few years so I can steal your ideas of course *Evil Laugh* kidding, but nice scion, I've seen a few modded ones around and they look pretty good.

Btw you mentioned you'd like a motorcycle, which ones were you looking into? If you don't mind me asking of course.

i was looking at GS500e, they seem to be very reliable and a great beginner bike, no fairing, which means no stealling lol. besides that i haven't looked into it, whatever someone would like to trade me that's worth around 2k is whatever i'd take.

i haven't updated this thread, for anyone who was subscribed i got another SC that's in worse condition than this one was lol. i've had it for a year now, CD009 swapped, welded diff, drift missile. i'll be doing lots of body work to it and weird stuff no one has done. it's also all on my youtube channel as well as posting some stuff here. check out the thread in my signature.

This thread has definately revitalized my desire to start busting my knuckles and expanding my vocabulary again. Was starting to lose interest in doing all the work myself. I thank you sir. Of course timing could be better, just started to see snow flurries today. Guess I'll be investing in some hand warmers! Lots of great info from your build.

thanks man, this was my first car that i owned myself and learned everything on so it was a huge learning experience, glad it's of help and inspiration to you.
