It's RHD that I really want and I've heard my state has really difficult swap laws like the engine year has to be newer than the car. But that's what I've been told, not 100% positive and it's about the same price if not a little cheaper to rebuild my GE with GTE internals

Well yes and no I'm sure you can get a GTE cheaper than new internals and a turbo Setup/ "kit" for a GS. But here a lot shops won't swap engines unless they meet state criteria and most shops even mom and pops are between 7-10k counting cost of engine and some extra money if parts break in shipping which I know is higher than anyone here has paid for theirs that's why I haven't done much more research into it honestly
