Another is350 project
So, after searching for the last 5 months, finally found a replacement for the last is350 that was totalled out. Picked up another '06 is with 68k miles. Super clean in and out, but definitely ready to start the mods, as I'm already tired of the stock appearance. So first off on the list is suspension and wheels. The last car had Tein coilovers, still trying to decide if I wanna do coilivers or just do a drop coil to get the stance I'm wanting. And as far as wheels go, looking to run a nice staggered set of 18's, probably something from the Niche Monoblock series. After that, I'd like to do an F Sport intake and exhaust (had both on the last car and was very pleased with em).

I think this is the way we're leaning for the wheels. They are the Niche's, in the anthracite finish. Gonna do 18x8 and 18x9.5, 245/35/18 and 265/35/18 Toyo T1 Sports.

that looks like a scary accident, it's nice to see that you came out okay from it.

Got the new wheels installed today, went with 18x8 (+40) and 18x9.5 (+40), and used the stock tires, 225/40/18 and 255/40/18. I really like the look of the wheels, but definitely need to drop the car some, the wheel gap is killing me! Looking at the H&R kit, 1.4/1.3, just worried about some rubbing in the rear when going over a bump. Don't want to roll the fenders if I don't have to.

Ur goin to have to roll the rear, I just installed my h&r springs n I'm glad I rolled mine before hand BC I would have rubbed going over bump or when I take hard turns

you'll definitely want to roll the rear.
also, my advice is to get coilovers, don't waste your time and money getting springs... I had H&R springs as well before switching over to megan coilovers. I wasted install money plus lost money selling the springs used; eventually you'll want coilovers so just go straight to them now.

I don't wanna go crazy low, just eliminate the wheel gap, it's like 1.4" in the front and 1" in the rear. How are they for adjusting the height, fairly simple?
