Thumbs up 1Clean06IS's Build on a Budget

Hello All,

I have has my IS for about 4 years now and love every minute. I have given it a facelift over the last 6 months and have had a new energy to get back into the car scene.

This car has 138k miles on it and is my daily driver, so with that being said I want to keep it clean, class and functional, but still turn heads.

OK, enough with the chit chat, here are the pics!

My last ride......

Why I own my Lexus......

Pretty close to day one.......

3.75 years later, LEDs, HIDs and Carbon Fiber 3M Dinoc Roof and Interior Trim......

Pre-Drop.....

Post-Drop.......
KYB Gas-a-Just Shocks/Struts
H&R Lowering Springs

Had a speaker and amp laying around so I added some thump, enough to feel it, not enough to loosen bolts...
12" Kicker C12, MTX 4004 Amp, Custom fitted 2gen IS Sub Enclosure, Dynomat'd trunk and insulated pillars and rear deck.
Added a Lexus Decal to the 3rd Break light while I was in there.

Wheels looked like this....

Time to send them off to Powder Coating, thanks to TSTraction, check them out on Facebook...

While the wheels were off, guess I should paint the calipers (excuse the rust....torrential down pour after pulling my wheels)....

And all together now.....
Burton Grey (It is a dark silver/grey with a metalic sparkle, tough to see in the photo.
Sprayed my center caps and added Black Extended Lugs and Air Valve Covers.

And as it sits right now.......

Santa brought goodies......JoeZ: Special Edition Blue Intake Pipe and F-Sport Air Filter.

Also added, but not picture....
M2 Performance Catback Exhaust
F-Sport Rear Sway Bar
Figs Engineering Rear Sway Adjustable End Links
H&R 15mm (Front) 20mm (Rear) Spacers

Well I hope you enjoyed, feel free to comment and provide input. All photos taken with an iPhone....will hopefully get a real shoot done after it is detailed.

Future Work....
FOR SALE!!!

Coming along nicely!

For those wheels, I think dark silver/titanium would look good.

Thanks! Just ordered black extended lugs and wheel spacers to help flush out the rear a bit. And while the wheels are at the powder coater, I am going to spray my calipers gloss black. I am hoping the have all of the wheel updates done in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks! It is getting detailed in a couple of weeks, I hope to have someone who takes pics with an actual camera (as opposed to me with my iPhone) shoot it so I can get some nice shots to post.

Progress Updated.......12/27, not going to do much for a while. I expect to have some wheels (leaning to 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 Enkei Raijins) and a VIS Front Lip on by Spring.

Really like what you've done and has definitely given me ideas for my SFP ...
I'd love red calipers with the decal - any suggestions on how to do this? I have no clue ...
