Default My 2JZGTE Swap Picture's (Built Not Bought...)

Hello everyone, I have decided to finally post a thread on my swap...its been a long road but finally swap is installed... This was all done by myself and my one friend, Its been hard working out of a small garage, I had to rent a second garage just to do the motor work on the GTE and bring the GE to swap oil pans, flywheel, transmission, Wiring harness was done by myself, took me about 3-4 days to get everything wired correctly, length, soldered and heat shrunk, I used my 96 GE 5 Speed harness and removed the GE ignition setup to install the GTE direct ignition setup, After Install, engine started on the second try with no issues using the stock fuel pump. I then installed a Walbro gss342 Fuel Pump w/OE FP ECU and working great. I removed the JDM twin-turbo's to install a T67 .84AR Single turbo... thanks to club Lexus and its users for all the info provided... Now Hope You Enjoy the Picture's....

Always a good felling to hear all your hard work and dedication fire up on the second try. I cant open any of the pictures, it just sits there and turns. I don't know. Try photo bucket or something similar. Nice job, and your welcome.. LOL

Who is going to tune it?????? What are your goals?

Those 2 small lines close to the firewall, one with yellow cap and one with hose attached, where is that hose going?

They go attached to the vsv and the air tank under the intake, I was going to install that vsv but decided not to, so the one line thats capped off is the line to my heater, the other is to the charcoal canister, I'm not sure what to do there...

From what I know by going single is you loop those 2 lines together. Well, if that works fine good for you then.

Yeah, there's no vacuum or pressure going through cause the vsv that supplys access to manifold vacuum is closed from not being pluged in, if so that cap would have blown off by now lol

Well, yesterday I noticed I had a small oil leak coming from the driver's side block...I looked and seen oil on the cooler and mounting bracket, so I removed the cooler and bracket and replaced all the seals in the oil filter/cooler system, drove it today and boosted 10psi parked it and guess what? Still leaking! What? Why is it leaking still?

Im of the opinion that your BOV is on the wrong side unless youre running two....

Should be as close to the Throttle body, so as to keep vac line to it short, reducing bov lag.

I really didnt think it mattered on which side the BOV was mounted. Mine is on the same side as his, without any issues so far.
