Slow ruining of a once fine gs300
This is probably going to be a boring build compared to most I've read so far but here I go anyway.
Bought this GS300 about two weeks ago. Fell in love on the test drive. So far the plans are to bag it and have a super comfy daily... but plans change and it will probably end up turning into a drift build. Ordered Battle Version steering rack mounts. When I first got it http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...psa3615013.jpg Cleaned up but still ricey http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps93af81e2.jpg Put my subs in the trunk and somehow still have a completely empty trunk http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps38ac2975.jpg HID headlights http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps289ed481.jpg Perfect application for my JDM tight cat knob http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps91d0cec7.jpg Threw on my Genesis wheels and it's looking much, much better http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps059ceb82.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...pse8ef68a6.jpg So the steering was a little sloppy and I assumed it needed an alignment. Well I found the issue: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps74b9a525.jpg Ordered some new poly bushings. These Lexus things aren't cheap. I don't have a press so I improvised http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...psbc361fcb.jpg These look quite a bit better than before http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps5ddf537b.jpg Also installed these battle version steering rack bushings but didn't take any pictures of that since my hands were so greasy lol. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps38ef21e1.jpg |
