Here is a perspective of what my head looked like after I got it back......Looks brand new

Who did the head work for you was it Napa?

^^i believe he said he took it to Napa to get done. I called my local napa and they said they could do it but would send it out and then get me a quote. i found another local machine shop that would clean it, do valve seals for a good price. only thing is their backup till next week because they have race cars that need to get done since the season for them is right around the corner haha. Hopefully this weekend i will have time to start working on the motor. Im ready to drop this bad boy in!

Well to advantage of the decent weather and cleaned up some of the parts. I wish i wouldve took pics of all the parts before i cleaned them. They was pretty dirty. filled with dirt and oil.

So i decided instead of using the 440cc injectors to go with the USDM 550cc injectors. (440cc will be for sale). Ended up finding these for sale for a real good price with only 55k miles on them. Question can i use the gte rail with the 550cc or can i use the stock 1j rail and use the 550cc. Also i know i would need a resistor pack to use the 550cc so would i be able to use the gte stock resistor pack? thanks in advance.

Just order fuel pump and aeromotive fpr.. Still waiting on DM to ship out my mani and a few other parts. Its been almost a month since i ordered it. seems that i have to keep harassing them on status which sucks. also picked up a used resistor pack for the 550cc injectors. Hopefully i will have some time this week to drop the head off to machine shop. Need to get motivated to get this thing in gear. I wanna have this swapped in and running by june 5 for Springfest in VA Beach.
